Make friends with your freezer

Your freezer, a place for delicious Home Fries and other McCain products. Which is good. Freezing is nature’s preservative, locking in vital nutrients and vitamins without losing taste or quality. And your freezer can help you do more than eat well – it can help you save money and cut down on food waste.

Using frozen food can help you reduce the amount you throw away. Instead of cooking too much, it’s easier to take out what you need, store the rest and keep the food at its best. Which will also save you money!

And even if you plan ahead, the freezer is still your friend – especially if your life starts to get busy and you need something, whatever the occasion. And remember, a fully stocked freezer uses less energy than one that’s half full or empty.

So, follow our tips to keep your friend the freezer happy.
